Guide
How to Book a Rawdah Appointment on Nusuk
Visiting the Rawdah al-Sharifah in the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah requires a permit (tasreeh) with a set date and time, issued through Saudi Arabia's official Nusuk platform.
This guide walks you through booking an individual appointment yourself. If you manage a group or an agency, RawdahGo can handle bulk bookings for you.
Booking step by step
-
01
1
Download the Nusuk app
Get the official Nusuk app from the App Store or Google Play. It is the Saudi government's platform for Hajj and Umrah services and is free to use.
-
02
2
Create an account or sign in
Register with your passport or national ID details. Each visitor needs their own profile in the app.
-
03
3
Open the Rawdah section
From the home screen, choose the Rawdah visit service and review the available options for your profile.
-
04
4
Choose a date and time
Browse the calendar and pick an open slot. Appointments are typically offered in short time windows of 20–30 minutes.
-
05
5
Confirm and receive your QR code
After confirming, a QR code is generated for your appointment. Keep it in the app or save a copy — it is checked at the entrance.
-
06
6
Arrive on time
Come to the designated entrance a little before your slot with your ID and QR code ready. Late arrivals may not be admitted.
When do new slots open?
Availability changes throughout the day, and new windows usually appear at certain times. During busy seasons, open slots can fill within minutes.
If your preferred date shows no availability, check back regularly — cancellations and newly released windows appear without notice.
What you need before booking
Have your passport or national ID ready, along with a working phone number and email for your Nusuk account. Make sure each member of your family or group has their own profile.
No payment is required for the permit itself; the Rawdah visit permit is issued free of charge on Nusuk.
Booking for groups and agencies
Booking dozens or hundreds of pilgrims one by one is slow, and slots often close before a manual process finishes. RawdahGo's infrastructure creates appointments for entire passenger lists the moment windows open, and delivers each pilgrim's QR code automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Rawdah appointment free?
Yes. The permit itself is issued free of charge through Nusuk. Service providers such as RawdahGo charge only for handling bulk bookings on behalf of agencies.
How far in advance can I book?
The booking window varies by season. The calendar in the Nusuk app shows exactly which dates are currently open for your profile.
What if there are no open slots?
Availability updates continuously. Keep checking the calendar, or — for groups — use an automated service that reacts as soon as new windows open.
Can women book a Rawdah visit?
Yes. Nusuk offers dedicated visiting times for women; simply choose the women's visit option when selecting your slot.
Bulk appointments for agencies
Umrah companies and travel agencies: share your passenger list and RawdahGo secures Rawdah appointments for the whole group — QR codes included.
